Eric "EQ" Young is a bass player, singer, and songwriter from the San Francisco Bay Area who is known for his soulful style and stage showmanship. His grandfather gave Eric his first guitar at eight years old, and he taught himself to play by ear, imitating Sly Stone’s mixture of sound. In the early 1990s, Eric was invited to join Con Funk Shun, a Soul, Funk R&B band based out of Vallejo, CA and the relationship lasted a couple of decades. Eric is currently on tour with the Ohio Players.
Jayllen (Jay) Kendrick is a 26-year-old professional bass guitar player. He began his musical journey at age 7, playing in the church, and for the past six years, he has been performing with Blues/Southern Soul artist West Love. He is also touring on the "Blues Alright Tour" and participating in various festivals and concerts. He has had the privilege of opening for artists such as Jill Scott, Bobby Rush, and Mother's Finest. When not on tour, he regularly collaborates with other acts, venues, and recording projects.
Khalil Barnes is a highly skilled and versatile bass player with 16 years of experience. Starting his musical journey at the age of 7, Khalil has cultivated a deep passion for the bass guitar, specializing in gospel music. He plays with the bands The Late Bloomers and The Weirdoes, and his exceptional talent has led him to perform with renowned artists such as Jonathan Nelson, Carnel Davis and ITP, Korey Mickie, Tim Clinton, Sean Tillery and Changed, Marquis Dolford, and Ejay Harold.
